We're approaching the first break of the day, and the players could probably do with one, after the rapid-fire progress of this APPT Melbourne Main Event final table so far.

Five has been reduced to just four with Robert Damelian the next to go.

Bowdy Tolhopf opened the action with a raise from the button before Damelian moved all in from the big blind for around 500,000. Tolhopf casually, and quickly, made the call and opened [as][7d] but he trailed the [8s][8d] of Damelian.

That was until the dealer revealed an ace in the window on a board of [ad][9s][5d][qc][jd]. The pair of aces for Tolhopf was enough to end the tournament for Damelian.

After a fantastic run at the World Series of Poker this year, Damelian has backed up with another strong showing here at the APPT Melbourne. He takes home $45,900 for his 5th place finish to leave us with our final four players.

David Yan is the chip leader with 3.4 million as Bowdy Tolhopf moves into second place with around 3.1 million. Billy Argyros is on around 1.3 million with Ashley Mason struggling to get much going on this final table so far as he is the short stack with around 1 million chips.
