The GuangDong Ltd Asia Millions (GDAM) was always going to be a big event. With a $130,000 buy-in and the world's top players flying in from the far reaches, the tournament was going to be one for the record books. Now, it's going to be one you can watch on your computer screen.
Today, PokerStars.tv announced it will be webcasting the whole event June 5-7. Joe Stapleton and Paul Khoury will lead the English language coverage.
"The GDAM event is loaded with big interest, huge names and massive prize money! We are excited about taking the webcast on the road to Macau to broadcast this special event," Stapleton said.
More than 70 players have already signed up for next week's event, and organizers are making room to hold more than 100.
As it has in previous events, PokerStars.tv will again host special freerolls for its listeners. Prizes will include a ticket to a Warm-Up tournament at the 2013 Asia Championship of Poker, valued at HKD $25,000 in October.
