This is one that Daniel Negreanu would have really fancied. It was a big buy-in deep-stacked tournament taking in loads of those classic mixed games. He should have been thriving, but as we know best laid plans (and traps) don't always work out at the poker table. Kid Poker was the first player out.
Twenty-two players bought into the £10,300 event with plenty of big names looking for another big score: Elky, Vanessa Selbst, George Danzer, Ville Wahlbeck, Richard Ashby, Luke Schwarz, Scott Seiver, Justin Bonomo, Fabrice Soulier and Eugene Katchalov. We'll bring you Day 2 chip counts tomorrow. For now you'll just have to make do with the prize pool and some lovely pics from happy-go-lucky Danny Maxwell.
