The £5,300 EPT London Main Event starts this Sunday, kicking off the London poker festival in earnest. While the UKIPT has pulled in some huge numbers (608 from Days 1A & B, Day C starts today) we expect even more players to jet into the UK capital for the EPT Main Event and huge schedule of side events.
Last season German pro Benny Spindler won the EPT London Main Event in a fantastic final table performance beating Steve O'Dwyer heads-up to top 691-strong field and the £750,000 first place prize. It was a good week for the Germans with Philipp Gruissem winning the High Roller event for £450,200.

There are events of all shapes and sizes taking place during the London poker festival with buy-ins ranging from £110 turbos all the way up to the £10,300 EPT High Roller.
Click through to the EPT schedule to plot your battle plan (and check out structures and venue information. You can buy into side events online through the PokerStars client (but don't forget to bring photo ID with you when you come to play!).

The UKIPT will also crown a new champion on Sunday giving the winner a huge payout - keep an eye on the UKIPT London updates to find out how much - and, no doubt, the confidence to take their run-good into Day 1B of the EPT Main Event.
Vic/Hippodrome shuttle service
A complimentary shuttle service is running every day (from today) between the Vic and Hippodrome Casinos from 10am until 2am. The journey should take 10-15 minutes, but during heavy traffic it could take somewhat longer.
You can always brave the London Underground:
From The Vic to Hippodrome
1. Get on at Edgeware Road tube station
2. Take the Central Line (red, Eastbound) to Tottenham Court Road
3. Change onto the Northern Line (black, Southbound)
4. Get off at Leicester Square
Reverse the process to go the other way.
