It's almost island time!
Today, the Asia Pacific Poker Tour announced it's heading back to the luxurious island of Cebu in the Philippines.
Running May 1 to May 5, the $2,450 APPT Cebu main event will feature two day one flights to kick off the four-day tourney. PokerStars wants to send you there on the cheap.
PokerStars satellite winners will stay at the the swank Shangri-La Mactan Resort just a short drive away from the Waterfront Airport Casino.
APPT President Danny McDonagh is just as excited as everyone else. He said, "I am absolutely delighted to be returning to Cebu. I consider this stop one of the jewels of the APPT series. The poker schedule is excellent and the resort means that away from the felt players can enjoy what I consider to be one of the most luxurious accommodations I have ever stayed at."
Oh, and the player party is usually something to behold.
The main event and Cebu side events are Official Asia Player of the Year events, an honor that will award the the 2013 winner with a one-year sponsorship with PokerStars Live Macau.
